The Empire Strikes Back: Retold in “Iconoscope”

Has to be seen to be believed!

It’s pretty easily interpreted because it’s so symbolically well done. If you’ve seen the movies it will make you laugh. If you haven’t seen the movies, well first of all: FAIL, and secondly you may not totally get the subtleties of the pictograph. Nevertheless, you should be able to appreciate the art form. This will no doubt be copied and forwarded “mucho”.

It’s the oldest profession in history of the world and now, with the reality of virtual worlds becoming visceral and comfortably private, the fantasy of exploring diverse sexual appetites has become practically carefree, and for some, quite lucrative. What is happening to our world?

Apparently digital entertainment has ushered in a new era of guiltless moral promiscuity. For some, that solves a lot of problems. For others, it poses a lot of serious questions about the future state of society and the blurry line of what freedom really means given the uber-pervasive nature of digital media.  If you want to avoid coming across as a complete jackass, getting yourself banned, or just being blacklisted by your network, here are 20 tips for social media etiquette you might want to keep in mind.

  1. DON’T spam. Ever – Self-explanatory, no?
  2. DON’T keep everything private. – Online privacy is important. It’s very important. But if you’re keeping every social interaction private, why are you even taking part in social media? This new social network generation age is absolutely amazing.

Before Facebook and MySpace people were all feeling unnoticed beyond their local family, friends and neighbors; slaves to Ma Bell and the Postal Service. Suddenly the world has exploded with new possibilities to be heard around the world, to share our opinions and your comments on everybody else’s opinions and comments!

Now, there are so many social network applications, blogs and emails flying around that again, it’s beginning to seem hard to feel noticed above the amazing din of voices through electronic media.

Now you can be heard anywhere on the planet, if you can just get noticed above everyone else’s voice…
