The New Face of Nuclear Power 70 years after Hiroshima

atomic bomb blast - is nuclear power safe?

August 6th, 1945, 8:15 am, the world woke up to the power of the atom!

Almost 70 years after the horror of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, many still fear atomic energy and the potential for devastating accidents at nuclear power plants, like Fukushima and Chernobyl. Through the years since, flames of fear and and misinformation have been fanned by radical environmentalists and not surprisingly, major oil companies.

But is nuclear power really safe; do we need it and is it truly a cheaper and sustainable green-energy solution? The creators of the recent film entitled Pandora’s Promise, several of them former “radical environmentalists”, not only provide compelling evidence that new technology advances in nuclear power make it safe and sustainable, but believe it will be essential to meeting the future power needs for world population growth. And they can prove nuclear power significantly reduces deadly emissions from gas, oil and coal fired plants, elevating global warming, sea levels and killing our oceans.

This award winning, feature length documentary even received high marks from Rotten Tomatoes. Now that’s credibility!
